Warm up, then step up to the bench! Cardio class portion varies from 25-35 minutes and from simple moves to more challenging choreography. Classes involve use of hand weights for upper body toning and abdominal work, followed by a stretch.
Power Step: A fast-paced, high intensity class that blends choreographed step training with simpler but intense cardiovascular intervals. Each class ends with abdominal exercises and stretching.
Step/Abs: Be prepared to sweat! Step sequences and cardio intervals jumpstart the first 1/2 hour. The last 1/2 hour is dedicated to abdominal (core) exercises and relaxing stretches.
Step & Strengthen: This class strikes the perfect balance of step aerobics and resistance training. Cardiovascular intervals as well as body sculpting on the step may be included. Saturday Step & Strengthen has extended cardio and strength training.
Quad Step: A unique twist on step training. Each particpant uses four step benches to create a challenging workout for the body and mind! |
